overwhelmed? you are not alone
A Postpartum Doula can help:
Do you feel overwhelmed with all of the advice, methods, "expert" recommendations & product choices, not to mention becoming a new parent?!
No matter how much we prepare, having a baby is a big transition, and there is a major lack of high-quality information and support during a time when we need it the most.
The first few months as a new parent- new for the first time or another addition- can be challenging, overwhelming, joyous, sleep-deprived, and so much more. Being supported at this time is beneficial for your growth as a parent and can be the difference between simply surviving or thriving.
Meet Jen Chandlee, Certified Postpartum Doula
Imagine having access to a doula with over 30 years of experience to help you sift through your options without guilt or pressure, to listen to your concerns and reassure you when tears of exhaustion and self-doubt are flowing, and to offer non-judgmental support for the choices YOU make, not what the books say or family and friends tell you you have to do.
Imagine having evidence-based, high-quality resources available to you, instead of the latest guilt-inducing parenting trend making its way across the internet.
Imagine getting support with lactation, pumping, and/or bottle-feeding without leaving the comfort of your home.
Imagine having a safe person to truly listen to you as you process your birth story or share any emotions that arise during this transformational time.
That is my role as your family's postpartum doula.
Luminous Postpartum lovingly offers both in-home and virtual doula services.

Or maybe you just prefer to have virtual support, either over the phone or via a video call, instead of having someone in your home. Either way, I can help... whether you just need a one-time consultation or several weeks of ongoing support.
